Returns & Other Policies

Payment

We accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover in the self checkout. Payment is required before an order enters production. Your order will not be processed until full payment has been received.

Custom Orders

Design approval is required on all custom orders before your order will enter into the production phase. Once you have approved your custom design and full payment has been received, your order will then enter into production. If you are to pay for your custom order with credit card, a draft order will be created and a link will be emailed to you so you can perform a self-checkout through our secure website. You may also pay with check, money order or cashier's check.

You will be charged separately for shipping. Custom orders vary in size, shape and weight, therefore shipping charges cannot be determined until your order is boxed up and ready to ship. Ceiling Art Store will provide you a ballpark quote, but please understand that figure will change.

Returns

Ceiling Art Store allows returns on certain products up to seven days after delivery. If the product has not shipped, the cancellation policy would apply. Standard design and color products are returnable minus a 25% restocking fee. The customer is responsible for return shipping costs. The product must return in new sellable condition and the customer must receive authorization within seven days of delivery. Custom orders are not returnable. Credits / exchanges will be processed within 7-10 days of receipt of returned materials.

This policy also applies to damaged merchandise. Damaged merchandise is eligible for replacement only at no charge or returned for 25% restocking fee.

Clearance items are sold "as-is", all sales are final, no returns accepted.

Cancellations

Ceiling Art Store allows cancellation of all unfinished product orders up to the point of shipment. Once an unfinished product has shipped, our Return Policy would apply. All standard designs and color product orders are cancelable up to the point of production (routing of design). Once a standard design and color product is in production, the order can still be cancelled however a 25% restocking fee would apply. Once a standard design and color product order has shipped, our Return Policy would apply. We do not allow custom product orders to be cancelled once in production (routing of design). Custom product orders are non-returnable. To ensure you are happy with the quality of our product, we recommend ordering a sample before placing your product order.

If you need to make a cancellation request, please contact us immediately at 727.835.7755 Monday through Friday between 8am-5pm EST. Please understand that due to the high volume of emails received, requests sent via email may not be handled in time for your order to be cancelled. We strongly recommend you call and speak to one of our representatives.

Orders over $2,000 will require a confirmation signature. An invoice containing the terms, conditions and cancellation policy will be emailed. Before these orders can be sent to production, we must receive the confirmation signature.

Samples

Orders over $250 can be credited for one sample order minus shipping costs, otherwise samples are not returnable.

Custom Design Fee

If you do not see a design in our store that suits your needs, you are more than welcome to submit photos of other designs that we may draw upon for inspiration. All custom designs carry a fee of $75 per hour and payment for the first hour is required up front before we begin the drawing process. Most custom designs only require one hour or less of drawing time. You can submit images for custom designs to info@ceilingartstore.com.

Modifying existing designs within our catalog carries a $35 per hour design fee.

Production

Routing timelines: Our routing machines vary in cut times depending on the intricacy of each design. Once your order is added to production (after payment is received), final routing time may take between 7-10 business days before your order enters the next phase of production.

Smoothing timelines: Once your order has been routed, it then enters the Smoothing phase where it gets sanded and torched to ensure clean lines and quality finishing once it enters the next production phase. This usually happens same day of routing, but 1-2 extra business days may be added to the timeline depending on the size of your order.

Finishing timelines: Our artisan painting production lines consist of highly efficient, expert painters who prime, paint, and antique each job to order. Please allow up to 7 additional business days if you order your product with a custom color or finishing technique. 

Standard design and color orders can take 2-10 business days to finish production and ship. Does not include time for shipping. Orders are estimated to ship within 7-10 days after order is placed.

Delivery

Orders are all processed the same day. Although we make every attempt to expedite each order, we cannot guarantee delivery dates estimated at the time of sale. If you are quoted a delivery date at the time of sale, that quote is tentative only and cannot be guaranteed. Expedited order processing may incur a rush charge of $20. Overnight, second day or third day shipping may be available from FedEx, but the rates are expensive.

We are both the manufacturer and the distributor of the product so we can offer the lowest shipping prices possible. Product needs to be finished per order and therefore delivery can often be delayed. Regardless, we receive several orders a week from customers who have been waiting three months or more for products from our competitors. So, even under the most stressful production schedule we still lead the industry in price, service and quality.

*We do not guarantee delivery dates at the time of sale. We advise against scheduling contractors prior to the receipt of your materials. 

Quality

We maintain a strict policy of quality assurance. Our faux iron panels are made from the highest quality wood composite materials. The composite materials are set with a durable, formaldehyde-free resin compound making each panel moisture, termite, and NFPA Class A fire resistant.

Ceiling Art Store provides a variety of superior designs and finishes. All designs and finishes are created and carried out by our in-house designers and painters. All finishes are primed and painted with high quality enamel paint to ensure beautiful, long lasting quality. Feel free to request a sample so we can prove it to you!
