What's In Faux Iron?

Serena - Circle and Oval Shaped Ceiling Decor

We are living in a time where ingredients in our products are more important than ever. As a society we have placed a premium on quality, environmentally friendly ingredients in everything from food to everyday household products. We’re building more and more LEED qualified homes each year and always finding new ways to become more energy efficient and environmentally friendly. So why settle on something that doesn’t meet these standards when deciding how to decorate your home?

Our faux iron products are made from formaldehyde free, pre-consumer recycled medium density fiberboard. No old growth wood is used in the manufacturing of the panels we use. They are made from wood that is of no commercial timber value and is the byproduct of other operations.

This leftover wood is also detrimental to the overall vitality of the forest. All wood comes from an area within a 150 mile radius of the Pennsylvania facility in which they are processed. 100% northern hardwoods are used, which includes maple, beech, oak and other species. And all panels are treated with zinc borate, an EPA-registered biocide and a naturally occurring earth mineral that is environmentally safe and ensures protection against termites.

Take guessing out of the equation and shop guilt-free.

Shop for faux iron decor with Ceiling Art Store and reach for new (environmentally friendly) heights.
